Clean Fuel Regulations

The federal Clean Fuel Regulations require primary suppliers to reduce the lifecycle carbon intensity of gasoline and diesel supplied in Canada. Lower-carbon-intensity fuels, including qualifying ethanol pathways, can generate compliance credits under the rules.
