Distillers grains
After starch fermentation, protein, fibre, fat and minerals remain. Plants can market wet or dried distillers grains for suitable livestock rations, subject to nutrition, storage and feed requirements.

Corn oil and carbon dioxide
Some plants recover corn oil. Fermentation also produces a concentrated carbon-dioxide stream that may be captured for markets or other uses where infrastructure and specifications allow.

Allocation is a methodology choice
Lifecycle models can allocate burdens or credits among ethanol and coproducts using energy, mass, displacement or other methods. Results should name the method.
